On September 17th the KSS held its Annual Meeting on the campus of Western Kentucky University. Twenty-eight participants enjoyed eleven presentations which covered a range of topics including: exploration, advancements in cave survey instrumentation, data management, data resources and an update from our friends in Tennessee with the Karst Springs Initiative. One of the main highlights of the meeting was Preston Forsythe's non-powerpoint presentation and show-and-tell. What an amazing piece of cave history he shared! The KSS thanks, everyone who helped make this year's meeting a success, especially Dr Jason Polk & the Green River Grotto.
